In the final moments of the third season of Longmire, we discovered that our beloved deputy, who had been kidnapped and locked in a basement for weeks, was actually being held as an unwilling prisoner by his own family. Hector’s uncle and aunt had taken him captive after he refused to help them in their drug-running operations. After Hector was paralyzed, he was determined to commit suicide, but his father convinced him to go to a rehabilitation facility instead. Once Vancouver Police Department hired him, Hector was determined to make a clean break with his criminal past.
