What Happened to Hector on Longmire?

As of May 2019, there have been no announcements of Hector’s return to Longmire. However, given how dramatic his exit was, it is likely that the writers will return to Hector’s story at some point. Given how many fans still want to see Hector return, it seems likely that the writers will bring him back to the show at some point. Given how difficult it is to portray paralysis on television, it is possible that the writers will wait until the final season to bring Hector back. If the writers do choose to bring Hector back, it is likely that he will have healed from his injuries and returned to work as a detective.
